Climate Change - Need to wake up

First and foremost, we need to understand what is climate change. It is not just about the climate and the temperature. The harmful affect is not necessarily just the slowly increasing temperatures. To understand climate change, we need to understand life as it stands today.

As of today, earth is the only life conducing planet in our solar system or, as per current knowledge, anywhere in the our galaxy. The reason for the same is largely climate. Water on earth, fertile land are all results of our ecological and climatic conditions. The very air we breath, the temperature our bodies can bear can change very quickly if the conditions sustaining it change. And to add to that, we are not managing our essential resources like water very efficiently. To sum it up, we need to wake up and act now otherwise we will also be added to the long list of extinct organisms on the planet. Other than ever looming extinction danger, there are some immediate dangers as well that climate change poses. Rising temperatures, depleting resources are all looming dangers for our future generations.

The young generation across the globe seems to have hold the nerve of the issue and tried to raise it to leaders of the world. A lot of the global leaders are still in denial about the issue around climate change and seem to think the issue has been blown out of proportion but the points mentioned above are serious enough to gain everyone's attention. Organisations around the world are trying to raise awareness around the issue and the steps an individual can take at their level to help contribute to the solution rather than being a part of the problem. Every individual has the power to change the world and solve global issues. It just takes a single person to start global campaigns and youngsters like Greta Thunberg are showing the way.

I think it is high time for each individual to do whatever is in their power to contribute to solving the climate change issue. The least we can do is educate about it to the people around you so that they, in turn, can educate more people or even take action against it.

  4. I think we shouldn't seeing what others are doing to resolve this thing....we should do our part so that it might inspire others also to take some steps towards controlling this climate crisis
